SHIPPING
We at LA Liquidators are experienced and professional shippers with over 10 years experience in worldwide Internet sales. We utilize many specialized packing solutions to ensure safe delivery of your goods. We ship all over the world as well as anywhere in the USA, including FPO and APO addresses. We primarily use UPS or the USPS as our shipping services. International shipments will generally be shipped via USPS Airmail or Insured Airmail. For very large/heavy items or very large order we can ship via LTL freight carrier.
SHIPPING COST
Shipping cost is an assumed factor in any online purchase. We charge just enough to cover all our actual costs to ship your item. We do not profit from shipping, instead we charge you (the buyer) only what it costs us. These costs include postage, packing materials and labor. In recent years the cost of packing materials has increased dramatically. We also use many specialized packing solutions to ensure safe delivery of your item(s).
TIME IN TRANSIT (DOMESTIC SHIPMENTS)
We ship same day or next day in most cases. Most UPS shipments will arrive in 1-5 business days (see map below) after payment is received. USPS will generally arrive in 2-3 days as we ship via Priority Mail 99% of the time when using the post office.
TRACKING DOMESTIC SHIPMENTS
For all domestic orders shipped through UPS and USPS, tracking information will be emailed to you automatically by the carriers. We have found that many times tracking emails get routed to bulk email and spam folders. Please check these folders if you don't see the tracking email in your inbox. UPS tracking notifications come from 'Quantum View Notify', and are often overlooked by customers.
TRACKING INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS
Most international shipments will be sent via Airmail or Insured Airmail. These shipments are trackable only by us sending an employee to the post office, which usually involves standing in line for considerable periods of time just for that information. Sending an item via an online trackable method will add $10-$20 to your shipping bill so we generally avoid it to reduce the overall cost of your purchase. Although there may be occasional delays due to customs, the post office on your end, or international security procedures, we have found international shipping to be very reliable.
TIME IN TRANSIT (INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS)
Most Airmail shipments are expected to arrive within 10-14 days from the shipping date. Surface mail can take up 8 weeks to arrive.
PROBLEMS/DELAYS
We have found both UPS and USPS to very reliable and on time with their deliveries. Sometimes, however, there is a delay caused by the carrier. Please do not email us for tracking info as our carriers send that to you automatically. If your item has not arrived after 2 weeks of the shipping date, please contact us so that we can aid you in tracking your item.
For international shipments, please allow extra time over your quoted time in transit for the item to arrive. |
